Our Story
And they were roommates...
No, seriously, that's how we met. Weirdly enough, we had the same story coming into the co-living house fever dream that was Hubhaus, which threw strangers together for dirt cheap. Both almost 30 and starting over from scratch.

And even though we weren't immediately best friends, we always had respect and kind opinions of one another. He was the thoughtful life of the party, and she liked to leave sticky notes on top of free snacks in the dining area.

We went our separate ways right before COVID hit, and you can imagine how that period of time went.
Fast forward to January 2022
We were both finally living on our own without roommates, and admittedly hitting a wall when it came to romantic relationships. The solution: focus on friendships!

We were both trying to gather up all of the roommates for a hangout, but the only ones free were us. So, screw it, 2 can be a party for sure. After a night of snow, pho, boba, and episodes of Arcane, we saw how much we had in common and how similar our values were. 2 scary movies later, we finally had our first date.​
3 years later...
... and our apartment isn't exactly decorated. He comes up with the idea to have a photoshoot with his photographer niece since we don't make the effort to take pictures together. Little did I know, this was all a ruse for a proposal! And when I thought he was just going to tie his shoe, he was actually pulling out THE ring.

We're so grateful that we found each other when we weren't looking. Here's to the next part of this awesome journey!
